Billboard is reporting “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Disney’s Encanto has reached the top of the charts – coming in at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, features an ensemble performance: Carolina Gaitan, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero, Stephanie Beatriz & the Encanto cast.

Fun fact: “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is only the second #1 from a Disney animated film – the first being 1993’s “A Whole New World” by Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle from Aladdin.

Fun fact (2): While it took me till just last week to finally sit down and give Encanto a watch, unsurprisingly, my 15-year-old not only had seen the movie a trillion times, she also already knew all the words to “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”. (lol)
